Stay Tuned for Mindfulness
Candace will be attending a seminar called ICANDOit in just a few weeks! She plans on bringing back great techniques to help with mindfulness and spirituality. She is looking forward to this seminar, and is excited about all she’s going to learn! Remember, if you can dream it, you CAN do it! Progress, not perfection!
At each CHADD conference, there are always wonderful speakers who share their knowledge about ADHD and how to manage with it. Dr. Russell Barkley and Dr. Ned Hallowell are just two of the speakers that will be at this year’s conference. Drs. Hallowell and Barkley, two pioneers of this field, are colleagues of Coach Candace. Dr Barkley is a top Neurologist in the field and Dr. Hallowell, a Harvard psychiatrist, is the author of “Driven to Distraction”, a wonderful book that describes ADHD, how to diagnose it and how to live a healthy life! This year’s conference is sure to be a lot of fun and Candace is very excited to be attending!]]>
During her presentation, she will highlight the struggles that are faced when someone with ADHD makes a transition in their life. She will share strategies she uses with her clients and will discuss other challenges that we all face in life. At this community outreach event, there will be other professionals available who will be able to share their services with those in the community! If you want to attend, please email Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org! If you know of a community who would benefit from hearing this presentation, let us know! We are always willing to help and share our services with others!]]>

Why Bring Candace to Your Next IEP/504 Meeting?
Coach Candace has been working with the school systems since the late 1970s after she got her first degree in Special Education. She works tirelessly in advocating for her clients and has been extremely successful in helping them get the accommodations they need and deserve. It usually takes on meeting with the family and/or student to go over advocacy skills, a meeting at the school and a follow up. It is worth every penny of her time and yours.
This summer, Coach Candace want to help you take inventory of your strengths and challenges so that when September comes around you are ready to conquer school, work and other obligations. We wanted to let you all know about our Summer Coaching Specials. Ready to work with Coach Candace? Sign up for 3 months of coaching and you’ll get 10% off! Prefer to try out coaching without as much commitment? Sign up for one month of coaching and you will receive a free Time Timer, a $35 value and a very valuable tool in managing time. For more information on our Summer Specials and to sign up for coaching, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I had the chance to attend a wonderful luncheon today with WISER DC. The speaker was this fabulous woman named Robyn who is a dance movement therapist. She talked about how beneficial dance movement therapy is for those with ADHD and other disabilities. Dance movement therapy is wonderful and here at ADHD Coaching for LIFE, we incorporate movement therapy as part of our coaching.]]>
